Commuting and Transit Guide

Highway 410, Züm, Brampton Transit and regional connections — how to evaluate the commute from a North Brampton address.

Rosehaven names Highway 410 and Züm and Brampton Transit among the amenities near Countryside Urban Towns. No travel times have been published for this community, and none are invented here — instead, here is how to evaluate the commute yourself.

Driving

Highway 410 runs north–south through Brampton and connects to Highway 407 and the 401 corridor, which is the practical route to Mississauga, Toronto and the wider region. Peak-direction volumes on the 410 are heavy, so the honest way to assess it is to drive your own route at your own departure time — twice, on different days.

Züm and Brampton Transit

Brampton Transit operates conventional local routes plus Züm, its limited-stop bus rapid transit service, along the city's main arterials. Züm routes connect major terminals and destinations with higher frequency and fewer stops than local service, and they link into regional connections.

Regional connections

GO Transit rail and bus services operate in the region, with connections available from Brampton's transit terminals. Which combination works for you depends entirely on where you are going — verify current routes, frequencies and fares on the Brampton Transit and Metrolinx sites, which are the only sources that stay accurate.
